Many of you are finalizing your new year’s resolutions and goals. Now that you have a nice long list of everything you’re going to accomplish this year, have you thought about whether or not all the items on your list align with your core values? Do you have a way of concretely including new habits into your daily life?
I would like to introduce you to my free guide:
7 Keys to Getting Things Done, Living on Purpose and Being Happy in the Process
With this guide you can:
- Feel good about what you accomplish each day instead of beating yourself up for what you didn’t get to,
- Create supportive habits instead of just trying to cram more into your busy day,
- Have fun pursuing your goals and dreams instead of thinking of them as one more thing to do,
- Get more focused about what it really takes to live life on your own terms,
- Make sure you’re following your own dreams and not someone else’s, and
- Feel good about yourself along the way.
There are hundreds of books and other resources out there to help us get things done and be more productive. In my opinion, many of them are very complex and expensive tools to organize the minutia of life that doesn’t really deserve so much attention. It’s just one more thing to create busy-ness and many of us love that because we feel more important when we’re really busy and we think we’re accomplishing something by merely crossing things off our to-do list.
I used to be one of those people until I realized how it was just burning me out and pushing me further from my real goals and the life I envisioned for myself.
Each day I would follow the advice of writing down everything I wanted to accomplish the next day and prioritizing it. Usually, that list ended up being a bit too long to actually accomplish everything so I would feel bad about not being able to cross everything off the list which would sabotage my mood and drive to keep getting things done. This led to procrastination and generally not getting things done.
Most of these programs left out some key questions that you have to ask yourself before even thinking about putting together that list. This guide will take you through the process of asking those all-important questions and setting you up for success. No special software or planners required.
After using this guide for a while you’ll soon realize that you’re actually closer to the life you’ve always imagined for yourself.

Create the life you want: Combine the law of attraction with mindfulness
The law of attraction suggests that our positive or negative thoughts bring about positive or negative experiences. My latest book, The Mindful Guide to Law of Attraction, pairs that belief with the powerful practices of mindfulness. Through intentional breathing, writing, and engaging, you’ll hone a method for manifesting health, wealth, and love―the elements of happiness.
Let the law of attraction work for you by adopting its basic steps of identifying and visualizing the things you desire. Then use 45 practical meditation techniques included in the book to achieve awareness. By concentrating your positive energy on obtaining your wants, you’ll give yourself permission to receive them.
To your happiness! ~Paige

Think this guide is what I need
thanks to give this opportunity.
Glad I can help, Anna.
Hi Paige,
Me too, I have done so much PD material that it made my head spin. Learning to slow things down and tune into my heart has helped me to know the areas that I really need to work on. 2012 for me will be more about being myself than trying to do so many things just to cross them off of my to do list.
The to do list never ends, 🙂
I will check out your book for sure. Another change for 2012 is to keep things simple because it is easier on the mind.
Thanks Justin! Another great idea I read from Scott Dinsmore was to re-read about 5 of his favorite books instead of trying consume more new books. It’s one way to slow things down. I know that every time I’ve done that, I get a totally different message the second time around. One book that changed my life was Conscious Living by Gay Hendricks. The first time I read it, many years ago, it had almost no impact. A few years and many life and learning experiences later, it shook me to my core.
I know you’re going to rock it this year!
Oh Paige, I have some friends that could really use this guide. One in particular… Are there tips to reprogramming her brain? I swear, that girl’s mind can wander and the next thing you know it’s days later and she hasn’t accomplished a darn thing.
Now I don’t claim to be perfect by any means but I’ve always been a rather annoyingly organized person myself. My Dad use to kid me that I could run circles around three people with what I can get accomplished. But it’s like you said here. you need to have some regular habits and really be focused on what you want to achieve.
I have a feeling your book can really be quite helpful. I’ll be sure to send this link to those friends I was talking about. I’ll keep my fingers crossed so thank you for this.
Have a beautiful day!
~Adrienne
Adrienne,
Thank you so much for taking a look at my site and guide. Please spread it around to whoever you think it can benefit! I have some others in the works.
Honestly, I don’t know how you accomplish all you do in a day (your Dad was right!). As focused as I try to be, most things go out the window working from home with my three little ones around.
I started reading your latest post and can’t wait to check out your new Facebook page. The kids decided that their painting project was much more important 🙂 so I’m on my way back over there.
Thank you so much for all you do Adrienne!!
